ARBITER APP: Arbiter has released a new app for mobile phones. The presentation is a little different but it pretty much works the same. The old app is sunsetting soon. Contact Arbiter directly for more information.

GREECE OLYMPIA ENTRANCE: Greece has revamped its security protocols and only uses a signal point of entry for all of its sporting events. This means when you go to Olympia, they want us to enter the school at the front entrance and park out front.

VARSITY OFFICIALS/SECTIONALS FROM RICH FRANK:

To all Boys Board 60 Varsity Officials,

It’s that time of the year again, time to fill out your section availability. At the end of this note is the link to use to fill out and submit your availability. The link will be activated on Sunday, February 1, and will be deactivated on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 11:59 PM. If we have not received your availability by then, you will not receive any assignments for this year’s tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS. Here are some guidelines:

  • Please check either yes or no for each of the dates listed.
  • If you do not plan to officiate in this year’s tournament, please send me an email indicating such. My contact information is below.
  • VERY IMPORTANT: Please only submit your availability once. If you have changes at any time after you have submitted the form, please send those changes to me in a text. We will make the change manually. Sending in multiple forms confuses the system, it doesn’t just adjust the changes.
  • Weekday and Friday games could start as early as 5 PM and Saturday games may start as early as 2 PM. If you have any time restrictions on certain dates, please text me.

BLOCKED SCHOOLS FOR SECTIONALS:

This year varsity officials are able to block up to 5 schools for the 2026 Sectional Tournament. Your blocked schools should include any school you or immediate family members are employed or have a relationship with as well as schools that you do not want to work for. Your list of blocked schools should be submitted no later than Feb. 10, 2026.

If you turn in your list by Feb. 10, you have until Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 to make changes as long as  the list does not exceed 5 schools. If you do not turn in a list by Feb. 10, no changes can be made.

Please be thorough with your list. If you refuse any assignment due to a mistake on your list, you may not receive any additional Sectional assignments.

Be sure to reply to the email sent regarding blocked schools by February 10. Also, please respond to the email if you have no blocked schools, too.
