SECOND-YEAR JUNIOR OFFICIALS: Do you like money? How about a partial reimbursement of your Board 60 dues? It’s possible with our help to get money back from Section V.
Just contact, text or email John Geiner your name and information and he’ll work on the rest.

WEBSITE: We also have some folks not registered for the website. Both JV and varsity. JV officials not on the website will not be entered in the JV rating form. If a Varsity official encounters this, please tell the JV official to register for the website. Sooner or later, it will catch up to them because they won’t be able to move since they won’t have any ratings. We’ve been trying to reach out to some of these folks, too.
NEXT VARSITY MEETING: It’s a Zoom meeting on Jan. 8. More details to come.
NEXT CLINIC MEETING: It’s in-person, scheduled for Jan. 12. (This meeting is also good for varsity member credit).
REFQUEST (RQ): If you haven’t gone to the IAABO website and signed up for RefQuest, you are missing out on a great video training tool. Short narrated videos that go in-depth to dissect plays, official’s position and mechanics, and provide correct rulings. I just watched one on block/charge and it’s outstanding. It’s good for both veteran and rookie officials.
To access, go to IAABO.org and go the following:
- Register for the IAABO website. (It’s free for members)
- Once registered, visit https://iaabo-members.org and log-in.
- Find Register for RQ+ (Again, this is free).
- Bookmark the website on your phone, or on your browser.
- Receive unlimited access. Click on the bell icon in the right-hand corner for video library.
DUNKING/ATTEMPTING TO DUNK A DEAD BALL: Please review the following slide from Todd Kirkey in response to a recent meeting question.
