Scrimmages have been released. An email has been sent out with detailed instructions. Please review them and pick what you would like to work. Remember: JV officials work JV scrimmages; Varsity officials work Varsity scrimmages. DO NOT go hog wild and sign up for 20 scrimmages — you will not get them.
When signing up, be sure to TEXT your NAME, the GAME, the TIME, and the LOCATION to the appropriate person:
Varsity: Todd Kirkey — 585-287-0987
JV: Adrian Tyndell — 914-799-4664
- Some scrimmages are listed as MULTIPLE OPPONENTS, with two games taking place. We will need at least four officials to sign up (two per game). More are welcome.
- Scrimmages should run a reasonable length, usually about 90 minutes.
- Crews of three can/should work a scrimmage. You will need to split fees among yourselves.
- Payment: Schools are responsible for at least two vouchers per two teams. Some may pay more, and we welcome that. Split vouchers if, for example, three officials work a two-team scrimmage. You should NOT ask for an additional voucher unless the school offers it.
- Attire: Shorts are acceptable. IAABO shirts are required.
- If there are openings on a VARSITY game 24 hours from tip, JV and first-year officials can request to work it. In this situation, JV officials can work with Adrian to get on a Varsity Scrimmage.
- Cancellations: TEXT TODD OR ADRIAN ASAP. Only cancel in an emergency. Schools will know when you are assigned and may communicate any changes on their end.
- Review the email Randy sent for more details. Also, there may be updates that may not be posted to the initial list of scrimmages posted here.
Todd and Adrian will return messages as best they can, given everything else they are handling at the moment.
MEETING MONDAY: Next Business Meeting is Monday, Nov. 17 at Brighton High School. Please be on time!

To be clear, this is not a Board 60 function. For more information, please go to https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/bsl-referee-tryout. Kayla Crosby of the Jackals is a contact.
