ABOUT US
The Rochester District Board of Approved Basketball Officials (Board 60)
Serving Section V and Rochester-area basketball since 1921, the Rochester District of Approved Basketball Officials (Board 60) trains and supports officials to work Varsity, Junior Varsity, Modified, and CYO basketball in Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
Officiating provides men and women of all backgrounds an opportunity to give back to their communities, a sense of purpose in supporting student-athletes and their schools, camaraderie with other officials, in-game exercise, and much, much more!
Many officials from the Rochester region begin with Board 60 and go on to work men’s and women’s collegiate basketball in addition to semi-pro and professional basketball. Our members have worked in the NBA and the NCAA Final Four Tournament!!
JOIN OUR COMMUNITY
Board 60 and IAABO provide the latest training, rules and information to sustain and enjoy a rewarding avocation. Our members go on to work at the high levels of collegiate and professional basketball.
